Dr. Taryn Bloom Sydney Eating Disorders Obesity Overweight Sydney Australia

Taryn is a clinical psychologist with particular research interest in obesity. Her honours thesis was “Dietary
patterns in university students”. Taryn continued her research into weight management with her doctorate
into appetite awareness in obese children and
adolescents. She has been working with lap
band patients for the last five years.

Dr Bloom has completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Macquarie University and her Doctorate
of Clinical Psychology at Sydney University. She has extensive experience working in a clinical environment
with children and families. Dr Bloom is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and Clinical College of the APS, and is a fully registered Psychologist in NSW.

Taryn completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Macquarie University, and her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Sydney University.
